After graduating from The University of Texas at Austin, Anne mastered her skills in planning, organization, and program management while working in key roles on Capitol Hill and for Secretary of State James A Baker III in Washington, DC, Montgomery Asset Management in San Francisco, and Corporate External Affairs at AT&T Headquarters in San Antonio. This experience helped shape Anne’s ability to reliably plan and execute complex initiatives — skills that serve her well in navigating the travel industry today.

In 2007, having already acquired extensive domestic and international travel experience across personal and professional endeavors, Anne joined Ker & Downey in Houston as an Africa specialist. Anne grew her travel business through repeat client bookings before being accepted to the prestigious Brownell travel agency in 2017, where she maintains top sales status as an affiliated advisor through her eponymous Bluntzer Travel, an independent affiliate of Brownell. Anne has traveled to over 89 countries over 47 years, including 29 individual tours of Africa. Lisa Spielhagen’s love of adventure began while growing up in a small town in South Texas.  Her family traveled extensively during her formative years and Lisa learned quickly that travel broadens minds, encourages curiosity and fosters independence.  Her travels have taken her across North America, Central America, the Caribbean, and Europe. 

From fly-fishing the Yellowstone River in Montana, to sailing the Adriatic Sea, Lisa has relished every new experience and memory that travel has given her.  After a twenty-five year career in the legal industry, Lisa was ready to turn her passion for travel into a career.  She is thrilled to create extraordinary, tailored journeys for her clients.
