Anne Bluntzer discovered her love for travel at a young age after traveling with her family. She moved from coast to coast working for congress and in the financial industry, before returning to her roots in Texas and making her passion for travel her full time job.
Anne is no rookie to the travel industry. After working for over ten years as a luxury tour advisor, Anne made the smooth transition into her career as an Independent Travel Advisor. Anne’s joy for creating unique travel experiences, paired with her knowledge of the industry and attention to detail give her a great edge as an expert travel advisor.
Anne has traveled all over the world to the likes of North and South America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and her personal favorite—Africa where she has been over 20 times. Her travels include nine weeks in Southeast Asia visiting countries from Japan down to Indonesia, and six months exploring Southern and East Africa.
Cynthia is a native Texan born and raised! After graduating with a Sociology degree from the University of Texas, San Antonio, she moved to Houston where she became an Event Planner with a high-end, turnkey catering company. Her love for sales and the extreme attention to detail it took planning luxurious events brought her to Clear Channel Radio where she sold advertising across 8 radio stations. It was after winning sales trips that took her across the globe to places like the Dominican Republic, Mexico and Jamaica, as well as a honeymoon to Maui and Kauai, that she fell in love with travel. Immersing herself in the local culture and learning everything she could about each destination she would visit became a true passion for Cynthia.
A perfectly planned bespoke experience can create lifelong memories, and to her, that is priceless. Travel is a very personal experience, and there is nothing more exciting than to watch peoples dreams become a reality.
Lisa Spielhagen’s love of adventure began while growing up in a small town in South Texas. Her family traveled extensively during her formative years and Lisa learned quickly that travel broadens minds, encourages curiosity and fosters independence. Her travels have taken her across North America, Central America, the Caribbean, and Europe.
From fly-fishing the Yellowstone River in Montana, to sailing the Adriatic Sea, Lisa has relished every new experience and memory that travel has given her. After a twenty-five year career in the legal industry, Lisa was ready to turn her passion for travel into a career. She is thrilled to create extraordinary, tailored journeys for her clients.
“Travel changes you. As you move through this life and this world you change things slightly, you leave marks behind, however small. And in return, life — and travel — leaves marks on you.”

THE BROWNELL ADVANTAGE
Bluntzer Travel is an independent affiliate of Brownell Travel, the oldest travel agency in North America. Our deep relationships with the very best luxury travel companies in the world is chief among the advantages of working with Brownell.
There are many advantages to working with the oldest travel agency in North America, and our deep relationships with the very best luxury travel companies in the world is chief among them. We are a top producer and “preferred” partner with the world’s best cruise lines, hotels and resorts, tour operators and destination management companies. Our contacts are, more often than not, the owners and chief executives of these companies and that means you have a voice all the way to the top.
We are members of virtually every affinity club and preferred partner program that is important to our clients. This translates into very special treatment, benefits, access, amenities and savings for you. These programs offer our clients rare and exclusive opportunities not available by booking directly, through websites such as Expedia and Travelocity, or through other travel agencies.
We have a saying at Brownell travel, “You can’t VIP yourself!” Imagine calling a reservations agent at a hotel and saying, “I am arriving at your hotel on June 1 and I am very important. I would like for you to recognize me by name, and have a small gift waiting for my twin sons. I would also like complimentary breakfast in my room each day. Please let the General Manager know that I am arriving, and I expect him to recognize my stay with a hand-written note delivered to the room.”
You may not be comfortable requesting that type service, but we are. Our partners welcome our guests with personalized service and treat them as welcomed friends, not reservation #34vb8734-09. When a reservation is made for a Brownell Traveler, our contacts on the ground stand a little straighter and shine their shoes a little brighter.
